Most Expensive Rust Skins: Prices and Ranking
The most expensive and rarest Rust skins with real Skinport and Steam prices: Punishment Mask, Big Grin, Alien Relic SMG and the priciest skin for each item.
In short
- The Punishment Mask leads our ranking dated 12 October 2026, with a lowest asking price of €2,162.35. We include only skins with at least two offers, so a single speculative listing cannot take the top spot.
- Next come the Alien Relic SMG, Big Grin, No Mercy Revolver – E Class and Horror Bag – all listed above €700.
- Most Rust skins cost much less. Across 5,536 designs with an asking price, the median was €0.95 on that date. Only 23 were above €100, including 7 above €500. Those counts include single listings.
- Nearly all top skins are old: 19 of the 23 skins above €100 were released between 2015 and 2017.
- A single listing can be a wishful price. Check the price history on the skin page before you buy.

A listing is not the market value
A listing tells you what a seller is asking, not what a buyer will pay. When few copies are listed, those amounts can be far apart. Check both the number of offers and the saved price history.
- Undead Door (sheet metal door, 2024): the only listing is on Skinport at €5,000. The stored Steam sales median dated 6 August 2026 is €1,570.73. The door is excluded from the ranking because it has only one listing.
- Zipper Face: Skinport €458.20 (one listing), Steam market €1,530.26 (two listings). Its two stored Steam sales medians dated 14 August and 23 September are about €514 and €983.
- Big Grin: 29 listings give more choice but do not guarantee a stable price. Its 57 stored Steam sales medians from 3 July to 8 October 2026 range from €789 to €1,371; individual trades may fall outside that range.
- Missing listings: our data for the Metal Tree Door contains neither a listing nor historical Steam points on the snapshot date. This establishes neither a current market value nor an absence of sales. The Alien Red AK skin, by contrast, is listed from €112.99.
Rust skins with few listings
Few listings mean you currently have little choice; they do not tell you how many copies sit in inventories. This list combines offers on Steam and Skinport for skins priced from €20, using the snapshot from 12 October 2026.
