Rust Rug, Wallpaper & Furniture Skins with Prices
Every Rust decor skin at a glance: rugs, bear rugs, wallpaper, chairs, sofas, beds and shop fronts – with prices, packs and what you get for free.
In short
- You do not need to spend much on skins to furnish a base. In our snapshot from 12 October 2026, median asking prices for most decor categories ranged from €0.78 to €1.63. The most expensive rugs are Rust Island Car Rug (€47.48), Soviet Carpet (€32.03) and the bear rug Panda Rug (€22.68).
- Rugs, furniture and storage each have their own skins. The item pages linked below let you compare designs and current offers.
- Use the Wallpaper Tool to decorate walls, floors and ceilings. Ten patterns are available without a purchase: four for walls, three for floors and three for ceilings. More patterns come in packs at €11.49 each; only the Lunar New Year Wallpaper Pack is tradable (from €2.50 on Skinport).
- Before buying, check whether you are getting a tradable skin or an account-bound unlock. Many decor packs and drops stay bound to your account.
- Some decor has a practical use: rugs provide comfort nearby, chairs and sofas while seated. Beds are respawn points. An ordinary cosmetic skin does not change that function.

Chairs, sofas and tables
A Chair provides 100% comfort while you sit on it. Crafting takes workbench 1, 50 wood and 75 metal fragments. Its blueprint is in that workbench’s tech tree.
A sofa seats two players and provides 100% comfort while seated. It takes 100 wood and 30 cloth and needs no workbench, but you must own a matching sofa skin unlock. Knowing the recipe alone does not make it available to every account. A Fireplace, by comparison, provides 50% comfort.
Our catalog snapshot from 12 October 2026 has no tradable sofa skins. The patterned “Sofa - Pattern” is listed at €1.75 in the store, while the Twitch Rivals sofas came from drop rounds. Some chairs are pack unlocks too, such as the Bar Games stools or the Frontier Decor rocking chair. Those unlocks stay bound to your account.
Other examples include the Fabric Beanbag Seat from Exhibit Decor, the Ice Throne from Ice King and the Salvaged Ejector Seat from Pilot. For a matching table, compare the ordinary marketplace skins. The most expensive in this snapshot is the Antique Dining Table at €13.00.
Beds
A Bed is a respawn point with a shorter cooldown than a Sleeping Bag. It needs to be placed in a building. Craft one at workbench 1 using 60 cloth, 100 metal fragments and 2 sewing kits.
The catalog has 39 bed designs, with offers for 34 on 12 October 2026. Most were below €1. Popstar Bed was €3.82 and Pirate Bed €3.74. If matching your base’s colours is the main goal, it is worth looking through the cheaper designs too.
Shop front
Fit the Metal Shop Front into a wall frame. Players can see your goods through it but cannot shoot through it. It has 750 HP and takes workbench 1 and 250 metal fragments to craft.
RustHelp lists three alternative ways to break it: 3 C4, 6 rockets or 18 satchel charges. All nine recorded skins are tradable. Their lowest offers in the snapshot ranged from €0.95 for Space Station Shopfront to €3.52 for Project Nova Shopfront.
There is also a wooden shop front as a separate base item. Its default recipe takes 150 wood and no workbench. It is not simply a wooden skin for the metal shop front.
Locker and fridge
Storage is part of the decor too: the Locker has 55 designs, the Fridge 42. The most expensive with several listings are the fridge skin Portable Toilet (€13.26) and the Cobalt Personal Locker (€7.99).

Do you need a DLC for wallpaper in Rust?
Not to get started: the Wallpaper Tool and ten patterns are available without a purchase. Depending on the design, further patterns are unlocked through a pack, store skin or drop. The table shows which patterns are already free.
What is the most expensive Rust rug?
On 12 October 2026 it was the Rust Island Car Rug from €47.48, ahead of Soviet Carpet (€32.03) and Panda Rug (€22.68). More on expensive skins in the guide most expensive Rust skins.
Can I sell decor skins?
It depends on the design. Tradable store skins can be resold once their purchase restriction ends. Account-bound DLC unlocks and Twitch drops cannot. The word “pack” alone does not tell you which it is: the Lunar New Year Wallpaper Pack is tradable, for example. Check the skin page’s status and see the selling guide for the process.
Which decor gives comfort?
Rugs provide comfort nearby; chairs and sofas provide it while you are seated. Comfort can help with health regeneration. Changing to another cosmetic skin does not change that function.
Where do I buy decor skins cheapest?
New skins are only available in the item store during their first week; after that they are often cheaper on marketplaces. The price comparison compares each skin, and the guide buying Rust skins cheaply explains the background.
